3-way switch replaced, original switch in case
Pickguard with perloid bottom and large
shielding plate (unusual but possible in 1969)

Pots dated 66-18
Pickups dated 1969
In the past, the pickup cavities were painted with
shielding varnish, but this has been removed.
The guitar was mentioned with photos in the book
''The Fender Startocaster'' by Dave Hunter in 2013
on page 123.
